Here we have another great Yamaha aprox..1972-74 YAMAHA FG160 WOW! . ...This is a Gorgeous MARTIN style REPLICA and for the money compares very well to the original in quality materials used..sweet vintage SPRUCE TOP now wonderfully ambered in color from age just too cool, The Back - Sides & Neck are all made from choice AAA Mahogany just what you would expect from an expensive Martin or Gibson...only you would expect to pay much more for one of those , but this is a rare early non "Nippon Gakki" model with the Red Label from Korea.. These early issue Red Label Guitars from Korea utilize the very same materials that were made in Japan. These components were used under strict quality control and 100% assembled in Korea from the very same vintage wood - components & parts as the Japan made Yamaha's. We have had many of these Red Labeled Yamaha's in the 180's & 160's currently and over the years I see up close and in person the very high grade AA mahogany neck s sides & back & the same nice nickel tuners & hardware the very same one piece solid neck no scarf joint at the back of the headstock area like the later Korean & Chinese examples ... This is a RARE Older Example the one with the Law suit headstock made in about 1981 this is a hand built Alvarez Yairi DY-90 acoustic guitar This is a super nice older vintage guitar. Its Solid Top is AAA Premium Select Spruce, The entire body is amazing and is made of old select Jacaranda Brazilian Rosewood and now is old growth, ..This guitar has a gorgeous 3 piece back do see pics. Here we have for your consideration the Booming classic vintage Yamaha FG 160 Acoustic Guitar Made in Japan in the early 70's from Nippon Gakki factory. This example is an eary 70's a more RARE version Yamaha FG 160 again this example is the Made In Japan Nippon Gakki and not to be mistaken for the similar Korean version of the FG-160 which is also nice but not the same as these apples/oranges this is a great guitar. This example was built over 35 years ago and was built to very high detailed standards workmanship are wonderful quality as well as some of the best woods available in that time period to compete with the great Martin and now this Yamaha is quite well aged and is a true SINGING vintage guitar in its own right. This one has the Amber/Tan label and not the Red Label. The frets have good height and appear newish and though to probably to have had a fret job done sometime in it's past. The guitar has it's natural age and patina with a few expected minor nicks,dings and scratches from a well loved and played instrument. This fine example is on the way... Here we have a very nice well preserved example of an ARIA Vintage 35 year old Japanese Crafted copy of the Martin D-28 Acoustic guitar. This a good high end professional grade Japanese instrument from the highly respected Aria company. The model # 9400. This is the era of JV AAA quality and workmanship with outstanding fit and finish work. This is a very nice example that was constructed with top Quality woods... of the day in this case the TOP is quite nice actually outstanding and has a now over the years nicely aged figured Spruce top, Mahogany sides - back & neck... Please see pics to depict the woods quality & grain. This example also has the Martin style Cross braced body bracing and is very well built. The neck is 1-3/4" at the nut that makes for a very comfy med-slim taper feel that is fast and as straight as when new...The fretboard is exotic Brazilian Rosewood as is the bridge Brazilian..The original neck set is very good to this day action is still good at just 3/16ths @ 12th fret and is EZ to play a real pleasure to play describes this one well. The fretboard itself does show natural play wear as do the lower several frets but just not enough to effect the playability of the guitar with no buzzing at all noted all the way up this guitar plays nicely see pics please. Here we have old "3-hole" this is another great Japanese Vintage Guitar! this one is over 40 years old wow! ...its wonderfully aged woods contribute to its rich great sound... this example is one of the greatest Martin style Copies from one of the finest "law Suit" Acoustic instrument builders of Japan Yamaha Nippon Gakki...This model is the very popular FG-140 RED LABEL ....JUST IN!...so more info soon to come please see the detailed pics of this guitar for a link to many more pictures ( 40 ) or more from every angle Very good- excellent condition If your wondering why we call this one "3-hole" is because someone in its past life had an electric pickup of some type and it came to us with 3 tinny holes in the top... we have since filled the 3-tiny holes one on upper treble bout and 2 below the rosewood bridge... we filled & clear coated so its all solid and is very hard to see but are their also a fine hairline crack threw the finish exists at the bottom of the neck the original owner said its been their more than 20 years and has not changed and is solid...if wanted after sale for free at your request fill sand it and fill with lacquer and sand and buff smooth I expect that would do the trick to cosmetically improve the look of that but its really fine as is... What is rare about this oldie but goodie its all original and even has the original gold lined Yamaha logo Hard shell case in pretty respectable shape too...see the extra pics ( I will have a link to those pics posted later ) for those details... Great sound and pretty EZ to play too I just Cleaned it to remove the grime but leave all the original patina and also dehydrated the woods and she drank it up and after drying we finished it of with a fresh coat of wax finish was applied the woods still shine like a shinny new dime.. great old guitar.. JVG Rated in Very good Original Vintage condition with its share of natural play ware visible upon closest inspection of the neck width is 1-3/4 @ nut and the action is set good at 3-16ths @ 12th fret.. the fretboard and frets still playing well no need for a refret some fret indentations yes but its still plays just fine at 80+%, top has aged naturally with nice Patina now and has several fine finish cracks etc..same as a well loved and played 40+ year old Martin would have at several thousand dollars less than a 40+ year old martin. Here we have another excellent FG160 for your serious consideration the Yamaha FG 160 Acoustic Guitar Made in Japan in the early - mid 70's from Nippon Gakki factory. This example is an early 70's a more RARE version Yamaha FG 160 again this example is the Made In Japan Nippon Gakki and not to be mistaken for the similar Korean version of the FG-160 which is also nice but not the same as these apples/oranges. The woods used on this guitar are of a very high grade ... spruce top, Honduran Mahogany back, sides and neck please see pics for the details but very nicely grained woods!... workmanship is impeccable... the guitar plays like a real with very good action and the intonation is set dead on... Not to be confused with the more recent re-creation shifted to the more economical minded Koresn facility that used lesser grade woods of similar appearance, not as good workmanship & attention to set -up , not as finely detailed,thick poly sound deadening thick finish or even China made current line Sigma made in China...even worse than Korean made.... No this early MIJ DR-41 is not one of those guitars: This guitar was built to strict Martin Specifications of its most excellent original design the D-41 know for its deep rich tone and superior playability and its craftsmanship and beauty. All original in very-good to excellent Its a vintage 37 year old well aged like fine wine condition...Never abused, Adult owned.. The Playability & set up is every bit of excellent with nice and low action this guitar is nice and EZ to play especially for a 12 string...Excellent original neck set,This one appears to be a fine Brazilian Jacaranda Rosewood Fretboard w/ Martin Style high end workmanship w/ beautifully done hexagon abalone inlays,The frets are very good. Neck has a nice comfortable medium profile feel...no buzzing no dead spots..just great tone woods tone...Sides & back are also exotic Jacaranda, Top is Solid Spruce with very nice and aged w/ patina..all bindings are excellent...every thing is 100% with the only exception on the front headstock and on the back the original finish has "clouded up" slight hazed appearance its slight but price will reflect this slight defect. I may soon simply strip the clear-coat that's clouded off of both the headstock & the back completely and refinish them both to bring this high end example back to where it belongs = Stunning!... it already is actually stunning now but with a minor detraction is all...I have it at the shop and it won't take me that long to restore and then I think I'll restring w/ new Martins & put on a bone nut & saddle perhaps...but priced now @ $899 for as it is now will be $1299 restored , for now available at $899 un-refinished back & front headstock as you see them here More info to come with better pics also .

This is a real nice D-18 it Booms quite nicely with Vintage Tone of that of a much more expensive Big Named guitar for a fraction of what you would pay..its Japanese crafted 29 years ago by the master craftsman in one of the finest Japanese builders factory.. the great Ibanez...the Label inside says... THE MARK OF QUALITY CIMAR Quality Produced under Strict Quality Control by IBANEZ "Made in Japan" Serial # 82110013k ... 1st 2 digits 82 that's the year...now not all Japanese Ibanez old guitars are so great not at all ..many were very low end guitars we saw in the 60's & 70's as a kid myself most were junk or we called them toys.. now that's not true for all of them though I can honestly say that... This is not a cheap guitar nor is it built cheaply ..this example was one of the good impressive one's they used beautiful grade woods on... This particular example it has a Strikingly beautiful straight grained Sitka Spruce Top ... it has ambered nicely now naturally with it's great patina created over the last 29 years . ya don't get that with a new Ibanez or even dare I say Martin with those white looking spruce top "yuck on thanks"... sorry back to this one ... The back sides & neck are all gorgeously grained AA higher grade Mahogany the fingerboard is dark Indian Rosewood with an ebony bridge..even the Original string Pins are aged beautifully amber tipped... I'm lookin pretty hard everywhere and I can not find a crack - separation or a defect to be found anywhere only the most minute microscopic its that clean.... JVG Condition RATED: @ better than average in Excellent used vintage condition wow!..This neck is arrow straight with a perfect medium slim taper neck feels great and action is EZ to play just about perfect...1-11/16ths at the nut very comfortable feel, frets are considered excellent vintage at lest 92%... Here we have another Vintage Japanese GREAT find this example a beautiful pretty much exact copy of a vntage Martin D-45 ... this is a very High Quality built Lawsuit era Aria Pro II Model AW40. Made in Japan. From information on the Internet concerning dating these, the guitar's serial number would lead to 1976 manufacture. However, I could not find the AW40 model cataloged until the late 70's... but its a 76.. is consistent with all others. THIS is one beautiful guitar! it exudes fine detailed craftsmanship this was Aria's flagship dreadnought of this time period with D41-ish features. From an original vintage Aria catalog, AW40 features include: "Dreadnought sized, Solid Sitka Spruce top, Solid Brazilian Rosewood back and sides, bridge fingerboard and veneer headstock overlay with MOP logo, Marquetry Purfling" ( Top looks to be solid with the sides & back appears to me to be laminated )The catalog can be viewed at matsumoku.org, a site that deals with the history of Matsumoku made instruments like Aria, Electra and others. This guitar has the Martin classic snowflake mother of pearl inlays, abalone binding and rosette, and fully bound headstock and gorgeous rosewood fingerboard. Headstock also has a Rosewood overlay. The bookmatched rosewood on the back side is especially easy on the eyes. The guitar is all original with no repairs and with original tuning keys. It is in JVG Rated condition as excellent used vintage 8.8/10 WoW...its 35 years old and the woods have opened up now like fine wine the tone is richer & mellowed as only time can provide. No cracks or repairs ever. It plays very well with good action and has a nice warm rich tone. The Neck is arrow straight. Frets have minimal wear with no buzzing anywhere on the fingerboard....this is the one! This guitar I purchased a few years ago and have used this guitar myself and only just recently decided to let her go... This one I purchased from a Musician artist in San Francisco in 2008 and it has been played as you can clearly see from the pictures but what you can not see is this guitar has had the Bridge Doctor system installed when I got it and it plays amazingly well and the volume is HUGE as is the tone rich & full tone this is a D-28 eater... This will surprise all that hear it from her looks to her tone wow... Read up on the Bridge doctor and you will see some great advantages to this system being installed and one of the advantages is BIG TONE... It really works and I am now a believer ...so much so that I have decided to carry the Bridge Doctor system i stock now. Taylor guitars come from the factory new with the bridge Doctor installed.. Please look that all up...anyway this guitar looks beat but its not really its completely sound and has no neck cracks or separations, the action is very good and the top is nice & flat as is the bridge ala The Bridge Doctor.... Here we are proud to have in stock today is a Cool one she's pretty rare too its a real vintage guitar its actualy 35+ year old in fact. This is a great old Vintage Goya Acoustic Dreadnought Guitar by CF Martin & company. This guitar was built in the early 1970s in Japan when Martin had thought that it was a good way to address the Japanese high quality lower priced Japanes guitars cutting into thair bottome line so Martin comissioned Goya of Japan to build their competive to the US line "import" line ( Japan because no other country at that time was building anything close to the high quality guitars like Japan was making " China , India, Tawain was not even a consideration Japan was in another league obviously to those countries... so Goya was comissioned back in the day this pre dates Sigma Japan... This was built durring the time frame when the Japanes builders had some of the best quality woods available to them and were setting out to show the world what they could really do. This is a great example with both fine quality qoods used from the high grade mahogany to the solid spruce top to the rich dark Brazilian rosewood looking fingerboards they selected wow impressive work...Kept in uch great shape al these years ( 35 years old ) see the pics it looks more like its 3 years old then 35... here today for a song we believe this example was built in Nagoya by the great Terada, that is pretty much the Custom shop builders in Japan they are responsible for the GB10 george Benson Ibanez line, They made the high end Ibanez Artists, The Gretch reissues, some other fine modles as well as their own Tereda guitars. On to this baby The top is book matched SOLID AAA Spruce and the sides and back are mahogany, probably laminated but they seam to match?. either way *AWESOME* The SB model has a beautiful transparent cherry sunburst finish that is still so glossy looking it can pass for much newer but its 36 years old!. The Neck is also solid AAA mahogany with a beautiful rich looking rosewood fingerboard may be Brazilian Rosewood . The neck is RARE with a nicely vee shaped which feels really good to me I think you'll be please with the feel as well. SORRY SOLD OUT: Here we have a GREAT RARE example of a vintage Japanese Classic LYLE Dove Drednought style guitar Model HDLN quality made over 37 years ago and it surprisingly looks as if it was made more like it was just 2 years ago...but it wasn't its old...it is in great vintage shape for an oldie but a goodie..The top is nice & flat and its a fine jobe of cross bracing construction, the bridge on this one I really like ..its like the old Original Gibsons "FIXED" just a saddle inside a tight slot of its Rosewood bridge to act as one and resonate perhaps thats part of the reason this example is loud & sings sweetly ... also not the ornate Doves inlayed into both sides of the bridge in old cellulose ..just like the old zgibbys!...This bridge is also nice and flat and tight to its top thats all original and excelent and the saddle has pleanty of room to lower the saddle even much more but the action is already set perfect to play nicely and is not to low not or to high = its on the low side and is playing remarkibly well now with excellent intonation... This Mahogany neck seems to be a nice comfortable medium -slim profile just about like the old Gibson original 60's they replicated ...The woods used this example in its construction does not have to take a back seat to the newer and at many times the price Custom shop modern Gibson Dove,( not as nice as an old 1964 Gibson dove though ) the now 37+ year old aged top of this Lyle appears to be a solid high grade gorgeous solid straight grained spruce and it looks to be a fine grade Stika, the mahogany is of a very firey high grade beautifully looking and exotic grain pattern. The neck I think it looks like it could be Honduran Mahogany by looking at it in good light at any rate its a WoW...Please see the pics, nice grade old vividly grained dark Rosewood fretboard & matching classic bridge set all in excellent shape its quality you seldom see today on the new guitars..at anywhere near this price point certainly .. this baby was built very well and this neck is still straight as an arrow excellent neck set to this guitar with excellent action and playability. As I understand Lyle was the only Japanese manufacture sanctioned by Gibson allowed to copy & authorized to make these high end examples in early 1970s at this time.. these are among the best quality made and are quite exact in detail..the neck on our Lyle is also a nice medium profile 1-11/16 @ nut and is so easy to play the action is less than 3 16ths @ 12 fret that's very good as is the intonation. With just a few minor dings or doinks this baby is a vintage Beauty. It has been played by an adult here in California & it has not been road hard and put away wet like many of these elderly Japanes guitars were taken for granted by kids and abused/ not this baby......JVG conservativly rated 8.5-9 / 10 this one is vintage / used / very good - excellent condition..( its in our shop with an old doink touch up ( restoration ) to the back lower edge and after its done that will be excellent to as well & updated & pictured.... I cannot find a serial number but is believed to be late 60's - early 70's This old girl has Excellent low end sound!!! and tone on this guitar is wonderful - it really booms! Condition: Average vintage wear wich includes minor pick wear, scratches dents & dings for an old vintageguitar. but no cracks to be found, straight neck, trussrod is functioning properly, very good frets still playing well all the way up & down the fingerboard with no funny buzzes or dead spots... Frets 1 - 5 ( cowboy cord area )have medium play wear but still plenty of life remaining no problemo. action is very good at 3/32 1st E string @ 12th fret. Tuners are the original and in excellent working order. Bridge plate is securely fastened to top. We have just as a precationary installed A PlateMate brass plate has now been installed to any prevent further wear to bridge plate which is common among these vintage guitars. This brass plate has also contributed to its big booming tone now is even a more rich sounding competitor to a vintage Martin D-28... FRESH SET UP...with Martin Bone & Saddle... this guitar is a wonderfull fun guitar to play lots of bang for the buck factor here.. This guitar is overall a very solid well built guitar that is standing the test of time it also is a great sounding vintage guitar that plays very nicely. Here we have a well made in Japan kinda rare to see these vintage Fender Japanese acoustics now days... interesting well built and is still beauty ..its all mahogany body & neck are very well constructed , offering good cross braced body ala D-18/28 seems to be awefully similar?..to my vintage Yamaha FG180 or 200 Nippon Gakki.....that is to say pretty darn nice!.. almost the same guitar but for the Fender's more stylistic headstock top shape that differs from the vintage Yamaha... this was clearly built for Fender as there import in thoses days Japan offered more competitive pricing to us manufactures to produce there line...this offering is really quite a nice guitar in its own right... so now its nicely aged well over the years..nice ring tone to it now, its very good overall condition, but sometime in its past history it received a doink to the binding on the back side lower bout a binding touch up repair has been done ...to the back lower bout and is about a foot long area -replaced ..its on the back bottom like I said so its really out of sight and is out of mind the remainder of bindings are otherwise 100% very nice beautiful actually nice looking tortious style..the rest the body has a few nicks or scars not to bad looking though a real vintage Vibe to it with no major cracks or warpage the bridge & top are tight and flat so its a very sound playing instrument, 1 changed tuner. The minor abbraizions had been lacquer filled to preserve the original finish integrity ..we just built up low spots with matching lacquer to level off to prevent further degradation pealing or chipping those areas have been french polished built up and then excess has been removed elsewhere leaving only the low spots filled then we polished to gloss and well it looks ... pretty darn GOOD now.. she's preserved & fully ready for another 30 years of play... this example has a NICE NECK and she plays great....Worth preserving?...I think so See pics please... This guitar has no structual wood cracks or issues at all just a vintage guitar thats suprisingly such a fine player...action is good not too high at all and it still has room to lower the saddle or nut even more you so the neck set is very good for many years no worries..its a nice sounding & playing 25 years old vintage Japanese guitar...and is overall a nice looking vintage example..stays in tune nicely and is a joy to play... nice vintage Japanese guitar this guitar is JVG Rated: 8.5/10 very good used guitar as descriped ...still oafer 25 years it looks & plays good. SORRY SOLD OUT: Here we have a great looking - sounding & playing Japanese boomer like a D-28 size Dreadnaught guitar from over 32 years ago... the fit & finish work are amazingly beautiful. What a great choice in woods they used to build this one.. the top is beautiful straight grained spruce , back & sides are exotic looking I believe same as a Yairi I had in that is said to be Coral Brazilian Rosewood it looks the same...breathtaking like glass finisg this guitar is over 30 years old and is unbelievable... neck is great a nice medium slim profile 1-11/16ths at the nut , the fretboard is nice and straight, frets are excellent, the action is great nice & low and this guitar plays so easily.... Sorry SOLD OUT: Here we have yet another fine example of the highly sucessful series model the 5053. This is an absoutely wonderful example of the great guitars Alvarez was building in the 1970's this example is a 1973 that make this nearly 40 years old. This example is in great condition overall with no structual issues what so ever. The neck set is excellent and connection to body is perfect no cracks or issues..neck is straight , frets are very good, action is good playing size is medium slim profile and is 1-11/16ths at the nut. Tuners are original and working well. Body has no issues either the top is nice and the bridge is the original and is flat to the top with no warping etc... no structual cracks on this guitar have been found upon close detailed inspection..the finish overall is beautiful I found only a few minor nicks or which in an affort to preserve its excellent looking original finish I brush tip touched up 2 specs on the back and a couple around the headstock area and one on truss rod cover ..they look excellent now and will prevent further expantion or pealing of those spots...so she has a clean bill of health and is good for another 40 years. This is a compelation of the high end Martins... the 3 piece back is borrowed from the D-35' with exceptional exotic woods used on this Alvarez 5053 the center is beautifully flamed AAAA maple and the 2 sides & back are Jacaranda Brazilian Rosewood and make for a breathtaking visual. The tone from these exotic woods is rich and well balanced, with articulate highs and good valume and bass responce...This guitar will bring a smile to your face while playing or just looking at it from across the room. This is a very good 5053. Get it before she's gone .

SOLD OUT: Here we had a 40+ year old 1972 Alvarez 5080 Acoustic guitar that was built by the master guitar builder Kuzio Yairi. He used 30 year old vintage aged tone woods when they built this guitar over 40 years ago.. that would make this wood arround 70 years old... Thats right...you can say that about a new Martin can we... not going to get tone like this from a new Martin either. This is one high class example replica of the Martin 000-28 this model is quiet rare and beautifully adorned with exotic tone woods plese refer to the pics. Just have a look at the beautiful exotic old growth Jacaranda Brazilian Rosewood back, sides, fingerboard...headstock overlay .., ebony pins with MOP and brass ring all high end classic detailed appointments... notice the real patina this guitar plays real well and has been played and it shows... in a good way to my eyes.. Just in... This one just in ...just a quick listing for now ...when we got it she had rotten strings & some finger grime but is otherwise its turning out to be a really good one. The action is very low this is the one to have with the best of the best features available on even the Gibson...this example has, true straight neck, excellent neck set angle as a result excellent action, intonation is excellent with a tuneamatic bridge with high end ebony brass & abolone bridge pins WoW, sweet rick Brazilian rosewood looking fingerboard as well as the bridge the fret inlays are correct to old Gibson specs pearloid or cellulose nitrate wow!... The beautiful Spruce top has rich patina of a 30+ year old vintage guitar and both the top and bridge are nice and flat to the top, This example is RARE with the actual mother of pearl inlay pickguard like the beat early 1960's Gibson this guitar still shines!...no major cracks of any kind...pickguard has a few minor cracks is all, just setting her up with new set of Gibson strings..cleaned the fingerboard grime & re-hydrated lemon oil the fingerboard... this baby is straight up nice vintage with a big sound & dead on action..the one to own! more complete and better pics SOON TO COME when we have time. This guitar exibits craftsmanship and was built using excellent tone woods in this case the top is select aged straight grained Spruce and is a solid top = beautiful, the back -sides & neck are also excellent grade woods Mahogany tone wood thats also a very good grade thats nicely grained & is beautiful to the eye as well as mahogany sounds great..see pics... its fit and finish are BOTH excellent just what you would expect from Morris. The Neck set is at a perfect angle is straight with perfect action that is low without buzzing and plays perfect too and its a pleasure to play this guitar I noticed that right away..very nice playing vintage guitar... no fussing arround with this guitar she's ready to play now out of the box to perform. This is a great Morris MD528 6 string acoustic guitar with a very good - excellent condition rating vintage excellent no structual issues. Classic " M " Dreadnaught body style with definite Martin D-28 type with its Fancy Rosewood headstock overlay and impressive "Morris" Logo desplaied abalone *& mop inlay in a vertical configuration old Martin & company fassion. Its Rosewood fretboard is also very nice see pics please is in top playing condition with almost no wear on the frets or wood. This guitar, although not actually "new" it has been played it is in top easily 8.8/10 Vintage condition with only a few minor nicks , chip or finish crack.., It appears to have had very little use and has never suffered from any abuse. minimal ware noted to this guitar is vintage clean and never anthing that would affect the structual or tonal integrity or sound of the guitar and nothing very noticeable. Its a vintage guitar not new or mint. That being said its a vintage beautiful guitar with some minimal patine. Please reference the pics for details. The neck is very straight, the truss rod is 100% operational and the action is very good nice & low EZ to play. Nice binding on body, neck and headstock. Sealed "Gotoh" tuners work perfectly. The body has a gloss finish while the neck is hand rubbed natural, very smooth. Tortoise shell pickguard. She just received a fresh JVG set up & we restrung with Martin acoustic bronze 80/20 light gauge strings. Here we have in stock for your consideration is a very nice vintage dreadnought D18 with some excellent tone woods workmanship & materials in deed this baby is a supprisingly beautiful sounding boomer from a quality Japanese Luthier Kurosawa these are rare to see in the states. This example is a model B156. The neck is a very nice soft V shape and really has the feel of era Takamine soft V and Alvarez Yairi soft V ..it realy nails the profile of the old martin perhaps a tat slimmer with a 1-11/16ths nut its a very comfortable feel. As you may have noticed this is a beautiful looking example as well its ambered patina is beauty that only comes with age the new one's don't look like this. Beautiful woods on back & sides are a higher grade richly grained mahohany please see pics, the neck is also solid mahogany, the top appears to be a solid top, and I have not seen any wood or finish cracks at all... really quite clean overall. Fingerboard appears to also be rich looking very nice grade rosewood wit its striking diamond inlays made of the old school pearloid that also have that look of 40+ year old vintage patina that is in excellent condition as are the frets... the neck is straight and the action is good and it plays nicely and is a pleasure to play. Here we just processed in this beautiful Martin D-28 copy by the great Morris of Japan company this example has some beautiful woods as you can see the spruce top is beautifully ambered with the look of a 1960's Martin now... nice looking grain has that bear claw type grain its high grade looking for sure and makes this guitar stand out... Cross braced in the traditional vintage Martin build style, Its top is made of Spruce, the sides & back and neck are a fine grade of Mahogany , fingerboard is Indian rosewood and the fit & finish of this Morris MD502 is excellent she still shines like a new guitar yet has that beautiful aged vintage patina look and sound. Here we have a beautiful player with great heritage.. This guitar was an Import from Japan back in 1978 its a very well built guitar and employs the same x bracing seen on Martins. Workmanship is very high as is materials the vintage tone woods are beautifully mellowen and the tone has opened up nicely on this and so the volume is good on this guitar with a new set of straings now sounds like quite big a Piano...clear and clean god volume and reasonible bass.. SOLD OUT! Here we have a great one folks... I was surprised again by this vintage of Ole Washburn guitars we have had a few over the years and I have always like them a lot.. This one came in with its strings de-tuned and had playeds grime and rotten strings so first thing I removed the strings and cleand the grime away and re-hydrated the woods and it drank it up and as it turned out it really ceaned up nicely ..thus the supprise. I often had the very similar guitar to this washburn the ole Yamaha Fg180's in the ofI had them both in my office to compare to and A-B against one another. I am today in the belief that these are actually soooo similar to one another so much so that I have come to believe that they appear to be using the same grade woods ( in this case the neck looks to be Honduran Mahgany )the Mahogany necks look & feels alike.. also is just about dead on to the Martin D-28 in feel...the Yamaha's didn't go with the Martin style Diamond volute but Washburn did in this era... built pretty much dead on to the specs of the US made Martin D-28. Did I mention I really like this guitar ...man it plays sweet... I mean when you play it it sounds so darn good and plays so nicely you really want to play and play it.. that's a sign of a good one folks... and this guitar has it. Its sound is nice and balanced and with good bass emphasis and a clear mid tone and highs just ring sweet and with the new set of Martin Marquis 12's strings I just installed it RINGS like a piano now. The tone is as deep as it is I believe because of its Indian Rosewood back & sides this lends itself well to the bass range lows this gives it that sort of sound made famous my the early Martin dreds and that is what Yamaha's old FG 180 red labeled Nippon Gakki, I would not be a bid suprised if it turned out that Nippon Gakki was making these D-27's for Washburn USA back in the day remember it wasn't cool to have made in Japan on the label either it frowned upon by executives in the US no doubt and was omitted my many like Martin, Fender and others as well... anyways back to this Washburn D-27s... OK first of all its Gorgeous looking it has the overall combination looks of the vintage Martin and aesthetics from the vintage Guild as well ..I think its stunning... The feel is wonderful this guitar has been set up with a bone net and a new Martin compensated Bone Nut set up and dialed in to play and that she does. Action set medium low with plenty of room to do any customization you like either way up or down it has an excellent neck angle and truss-rod its true & straight fingerboard plays nice and smoothly up the fingerboard comfortably the fingerboard shows no divots as the frets shows very little trace of having been played by its adult owner so the frets are excellent vintage condition as well.No cracks visible or seen anywhere, The top is excellent it has a few scratches but it is beautifully ambered with its bear claw grain and its perfectly flat with its original bridge perfectly flat to the top, No bridge cracks between peg holes.. all bracing is built to Martin style x bracing very similar to the classic Dn28. Looking closely at his guitars fit & finish I can see upon close in hand inspection it absolutely shows to be of the same quality one would expect from the Vintage Alvarez, Yamaha and Takamine and Terada the finish work was done flawlessly and the materials used are well above average the fit is precise and the outcome is this guitar is a lot of guitar for this kine of price. I prefer my Acoustics to be over 25 years old at that point the woods can age and mellow and really begin to open up the tone comes more alive and the instrument can come into its own with time...by why buy and wait 20+ years? buy vintage guitars. This guitar is ready its playing beautifully, its set-up it has new Martin strings and sounding beautiful. It is a real vintage guitar and it does have a few minor scratches that's natural or a near 30 year old guitar that has been played but aside from the tiny and the few the condition of this guitars structural integrity and its overall vintage beauty with its near 30 years of patina its an overlooked classic and is a bargain. Grab a hold of a great guitar at a great price today before she's gone. .

SOLD OUT: Here we have a wonderful high quality Japanese made Washburn copy of the Martin D-18 thats a dead ringer for the old Martin. We love this lawsuit era replica its a great sounding near 30+ yar old beauty with amazing high grade mahogany just look at that top it looks like exotic grade Hawaiian Koa but its AAAA Mahogany and is cousin to Koa... Its all Mahogany and make for a very nice rich tone this guitar sounds as good or better than most $1500-2000 guitars no kidding I was surprised and the action is very good this guitar plays with ease with no buzzing or dead notes to be found and you will be very pleased! Over 30 years Old now the woods have mellowed nicely and opened up with very good volume too. This guitar is near pristine and is well above average for its age...fit and finish is beautiful as is the workmanship and fretwork is excellent as well there is a slight bit of finish fade or milking as its called to the back finish not so bad just wanted you to now its not bad because its the back and you don't see it much. The AAAA Flame mahogany neck has a medium slim taper and has a very nice feel to it and is excellent, no cracks found anywhere on this guitar. The Top is really nice a statement piece and is solid AAAA Mahogany nut wih is 1-11/16ths, frets are at 96% = excellent, neck angle is also = excellent , tone & playability ALL = Excellent. You can spend 3 x this price and not get a better sounding or playing ALL Mahogany D-18 thats 30 years aged and in this condition... WoW this one is a bargain .

Just in today, You know the guitar its a dead ringer for the Vintage Martin and its 36 years old and the woods are well aged ann tone is soooooo sweet good bottom with excellent volume and did I mention its MINTTTTTT! This is the one for someone that wants a collectible high quality awesome sounding vintage player this is the best of the best right here folks... its been kept in its custom built hard shell case made in San Francisco Californa where this guitar has always been since t arrived new from Japan I have had nice examples of this Takamine F340s but non nearly as nice as this gem kept in its case with a high end humidifier all its life and t plays like a dream too EZ action kept de-tuned when not in play, Ths is the top of the line for an F340s t does not get better than this. If your looking for the finest vintage Japanese Lawsuit era Takamine F340s well you just found it. Its as close as it comes to owning a New Vintage Guitar. 36 years old aged tone woods I thought I had seen it all until this one came to me and I love it! So will you. What ya lookin for? if your like eme a great well built vintage "old tone woods" high quality guitar that sounds incredible .... if that's what you like your taste is like mine.. and I love this era guitar but so many have suffered the wrath of time and are damaged goods or broken - cracked patched up ,this or that ... this is 100% all original and is like going back 35 years in time in your own time machine... think about it someone took such great care of this guitar for 35 years until NOW and this truly is IN ITS PRIME right now tone wise they really don't get much better folks...and you can spend a whole lot more $$$$ and not thet this sound quality you don't get sound this rich from a new $3500 Gibson or Martin I kid you not.. that will take years for the woods to open up like this guitar has already done. Takamine like Yairi's used aged woods when they built there guitars 35 years ago I believe they said the woods were 30 years old when they built these... you can do the math I still don't think you get anything like that from Martin without taking out a second mortgage on your home. This guitar was built as one of THE top end Lawsuit era guitars with a Solid Sitka Spruce top beautifully grained without a crack to this day... the sides are Brazilian Jacaranda Rosewood as is the beautiful and ornate 2 piece back with intricate perfiling and this guitar is well multi-bound all in excellent vintage condition.. The solid Honduran Mahogany neck with Martin vintage style Diamond Volute ( a must have ) is perfect feeling just the right size a hand full but not to big either... the tuners are original and still work excellently and do a great job of keeping this beauty in tune. The fingerboard show no finger divots, frets are vintage and are excellent as are the inlays all excellent needless to say this guitar is 100% original and will come in its original hard shell case as we have received it. Neck angle and relief = excellent as a result this guitar plays easily with excellent play action. Upon arrival we will be setting this top grade player up with a new Martin bone nut and saddle set up with Martin strings , cleaned - polished & and dialed in ready for you. This is a especially nice example we have had many Vintage Takamine's in we also currently have a MINT - Tak F340 and a Tak F370, F375s and this Tak EF375s The sounds of a really great old Martin for a fraction of what those will set you back and perhaps these Takamine's are even MORE Beautiful... you decide for yourself .... Excellent vintage condition , Great medium profile soft V neck feels just like the Classic Martin D28 more info to come but it sounds great and its a great guitar to play because its EZ finger action set up... OLD Morris looks to be equal in all respects to our Yairi CY116, exotic wood construction with very nice old woods and excellent workmanship - fit & f instance they make the fit & finish is amazingly nice on the Terada factory made Morris. If your not familiar with Terada they are responsible for some of the finest Japanese guitars on the planet for instance Ibanez George Benson GB10's and all that high end line, most of Ibanez's Artists, and several other top of the line Japanese legends and they know how to make exceptional guitars and this Morris Classical is no different it sounds beautiful and has the vibe that is if you love the looks and feel of a well seasoned fully broken in 40 year patina and your OK with the top finger drag wear your going to love this vintage beauty yes it has plenty of vibe bit it sounds deep and rich too. Nice meaty neck plays easily with great action and with absolutely no cracks oh it has minor doinks and scratches here & there but nothing horrible this guitar qualifies for a VERY GOOD JVG rating overall vintage excellent but with the wear as seen the neck is still pretty slick no major abrasions and the fingerboard is nice too. WoW!.... that's what I said when I first laied eyes on this beauty LOOK at those Gorgeous AAAAA FLAMED Maple woods WoW!... Looks that can compete with most any Gibson Historic or even Classic flamed vintage J200's ...this example is in like newish condition too that's amazing considering a guitar of this vintage( over 35 years old ) it is in top playing condition as well with low comfortable string action its all original and is a great playing J200... You will be hard pressed to find a beautifully flamed vintage example that plays so nicely and sounds soooo good for this kind of price. Get it before she's gone!.
