1990 ’51 Precision Bass, model OPB’51-EX, in Classic 50's Vintage two-tone sunburst. This one is a High End “Made in Japan” model, manufactured by FujiGen. Comparable to the US Custom Shop Quality Reissues....This one has a real Pretty ash body, A solid accurate one-piece figured maple neck, with all the correct vintage hardware and appointments. This bass is very clean. plays as good as it looks = GREAT!, and this is NOT boat-anchor heavy take either. ORIGINALITY: The volume & tone pots, the corresponding knobs, and the capacitor were all professionally replaced with genuine USA parts. Everything else is completely original and without excuse. CONDITION: JVG rated # excellent Condition, The bass has not been played (or banged around) very much, and it shows; other than some pitting on the chrome parts, it’s in excellent plus condition. The neck is also super clean, looks & sights perfectly straight, the truss rod works just fine and has not been cranked, and it plays… wonderfully. With normal good action. The vintage-width frets show slight wear only. DETAILS: The neck is not dated, but has the “Made in Japan” sticker at the base, with serial number K018469 (1990-1991). There is a black stamp of “OPB-51 EX” and a variety of red stamps in the neck pocket; one of them looks like a date, but we can’t make it out. The heel of the neck is also stamped “OBB51EX”, along with a couple of other marks. Standard vintage ’51 re-issue scale length and nut width; the neck profile is the typical flattish “C”. The bass weighs in at 9 pounds 6 ounces; that's pretty good for this era! Sweet Classic Japanese crafted vintage 51 Fender P Bass...You can't go wrong with this fine example .

It is in very good - excellent used vintage 8.5/10 or better condition. Mahogany body & neck... Neck is straight, action is nice, frets are good, medium 60's profile feel,width is 1-5/8" @ nut length from nut to end of fretboard is 21-1/4", Nice sealed chrome tuners work great..All pickups & electronics - switches etc still are working well. This Japanese vintage Bass is about 35 years old now considering its age it is in the upper percentile condition rating for such a vintage player bass. Killer 30 year old vintage Japanese P-bass Crafted in Japan Its natural body was stripped of its original sunburst finish and looks like so many REAL pre CBS guitars done this way in the 70's & 80's I once had a 66 strat that was done this way the dealer I bought it from called it a "Hippie Finish" anyway it looks realy cool its a mahogany body that has that real relic road worn type look its a very nice quality Vintage playing Vintage Japanese Bass, great action, nice beefy dark rosewood neck real pearloid markers.. its quite nice sounding & is completely ready to gig or record... .

This is NOT A FENDER guitar it is a 30 Year old vintage Made in Japan Reissue from Greco Japan. This was not allowed in the US as an export back in 1980 but since was sold used and shipped to the US and now is available for your pleasure. These are some of the finest made vintage correct examples some say these rival the originals. This example truly is a vintage guitar in its own right now over 30 years old.
