There is no single stomp box more famous than the Ibanez Tube Screamer and it's easy to see why. With its tubelike distortion, smooth sustain, fat tone, and acclaim by artists too numerous to mention, the Tube Screamer has been and continues to be the world's most popular solid-state overdrive. These pedals are so sought after that, after their discontinuation of them in 1984, used TS9s were going for as much as 4 times their original price at vintage shows a few years later. They have since been reissued and feature the same factory, same components, same housing, same famous seasick green paint, and the same warm overdrive that made the original one of the all-time classic pedals. Guitar Player called it the best pedal around, get it and you'll see why. .
