74 Yamaha FG160 Nippon Gakki made in Japan Acoustic Guitar

Here we have another excellent FG160 for your serious consideration the Yamaha FG 160 Acoustic Guitar Made in Japan in the early - mid 70's from Nippon Gakki factory. This example is an early 70's a more RARE version Yamaha FG 160 again this example is the Made In Japan Nippon Gakki and not to be mistaken for the similar Korean version of the FG-160 which is also nice but not the same as these apples/oranges. This example is MADE IN JAPAN and was built well over 35 years ago and was built to very high detailed standards as well as some of the best Exotic grained Honduran Mahogany woods available ( see pics please for that detail ) in that time period to compete with the great Martin and now this Yamaha is quite well aged with beautiful patina of a true vintage instrument and is a true vintage guitar in its own right. This one has the Amber/Tan label and not the Red Label but the golden lable. The frets are very good - original. The guitar has it's natural age and patina with a few expected minor nicks, dings from a well loved and adult respected instrument. This fine example is here and in stock... We upon receiving have remove the strings cleaned and detailed the guitar oil rosewood and polish finish, and this guitar to plays very well and optionally available upgrade if wanted please ask us...may include new bone nut/saddle/ we have several of these old Yamaha's and they are truly amazing instruments very well compared to Martin, Taylor, Gibson for there fine construction and playability with amazing tone for this kind of money... 1973 Morris Classical Solid Cedar Top Brazilian Rosewood back sides $699

OLD Morris looks to be equal in all respects to our Yairi CY116, exotic wood construction with very nice old and exotic tone woods and it show excellent Japanese handcraft workmanship - fit and finish is amazingly nice on the Terada factory made Morris. If your not familiar with Terada they are responsible for some of the finest Japanese guitars on the planet for instance Ibanez George Benson GB10's and all that high end line, most of Ibanez's Artists, and several other top of the line Japanese legends and they know how to make exceptional guitars and this Morris Classical is no different it sounds beautiful and has the vibe that is if you love the looks and feel of a well seasoned fully broken in 40 year patina and your OK with the top finger drag wear your going to love this vintage beauty yes it has plenty of vibe bit it sounds deep and rich too. Nice meaty neck plays easily with great action and with absolutely no cracks oh it has minor doinks and scratches here & there but nothing horrible this guitar qualifies for a VERY GOOD JVG rating overall vintage excellent but with the wear as seen the neck is still pretty slick no major abrasions and the fingerboard is nice too. Yes this is a very nice Ole Classical that has another lifetime of wonderful service to its new owner. I think you will be very pleased. Any questions just drop me an email to JVGuitars@gmail.com . Thanks for looking Joe

1988 Yamaha T-100 Soldano designed USA built $ 629

Yamaha contracted Mike Soldano to design this amp for Yamaha USA this was before Soldano's SLO.... very similar design with very little difference except the price is about 1/3rd .....This cool little barn stormer of an amp is a 1-12" Combo with 100 watts rms and is a very well built and dependable all tube combo amp Marshall meets Mesa this is a great sounding amp! A little secret, that's not much of a secret. Before the SLO, Mike Soldano designed an amplifier for Yamaha. This T-100. pretty much the Same amp you can call the guys at Soldano, they will tell you about that its true. There is a $50 mod you can have them do to the amp to perfectly match the amp, but the tech at Soldano said that no one in their shop can hear the difference. "Choke Mod." The T-100 is the prototype for the SLO. I had one for a long time. Absolutely was a great amp, and they can be found reasonably here at JVGuitars in combo form. Right on the back panel it says, "Designed by Mike Soldano." You know the best tone I ever had was with that little bandmaster cranked to 10. Edward Van Halen, 1980, Guitar Player Magazine.
