79 Takamine EF307s 00018 lawsuit Martin copy beautiful iJapan $735.00

Born May 6 1979. Here we have a sweet upgraded 41 years old 00018 type Law Suit Martin copy to the T ... and now with its aged tone woods aint bad for starts, good action its an EF 307s the "E" stands for electric thats righ this beauty has the original famously great sounding Takamine EQ and pickup on board and the ..." S " is for SOLID spruce top, This represents the TOP of the LINE for this model made in Japan back in 1979. this has a mahogany back and sides and a solid mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard. I just got it in 2 weeks ago and have done some repairs and upgrades to this worthy great sounding vintage guitar and in doing so I have stripped old strings and grime removal cleaning the entire guitar down and Lemon oil fingerboard and bridge and clean and polish the finish of the entire guitar care has been taken to not remove natural age patina. I have adjusted the truss rod and I leveled the frets ( they looked ok to start with not much wear ) so minimal no ruts in frets - re crown the frets and then polish the frets, I have upgraded to include a Martin bone nut and compensated saddle fit -installition and swapped out plastic pins for superior solid bridge pins upgrade solid ebony .... the repairs I needed to do was to fix a back crack from a drop it also hit the binding and slightly extended to that side which has all been permantly repaired and cosmetically improved as well barly showing now from 2 feet away that is solid and done well then perhaps on that drop incident the back of the neck had several ding cashed I could feel that was in mid neck area I sanded down to bare mahogany and removed the dings than sealed-shot mahogany instrument lacquer - clear lacquer and blending to bottom heel and up to base of headstock melting in and polish = POOF gone! and now its as new ..lacquer is a thin skin and is done in multipal coats wet sanding inbetween the blend is seemless and done professionally all done to " Preserve the original finish integrity" and is beautiful now and nolonger an issue for its continuing life and is fully ready to serve for another 40 years. Professionally maintained and ready for enjoyment. I love the sound of these 000 guitars sure to please. contact joe by email at jvguitars@gmail.com pics and details soon to come STAY TUNED!
